Upcoming Release: Ka Mahetla by Selflez B

South African artist, Selflez B, will release his upcoming single, “Ka Mahetla” on September 8th, 2023.

Selflez B has taken the music scene by storm with his inspiring and impactful songs. His music is based on three ideals: Faith, Hope, and Love. He uses these themes to motivate and inspire those who have lost hope. Instead of promoting immorality and juvenile delinquency, Selflez B focuses on creating songs with lyrics that carry great moral lessons.

Selflez B started singing at 13 and continued his studies in the creative arts throughout his schooling. His songs come to him as dreams while he sleeps, or visions when he’s alone, hearing voices in his head. His latest single, “Ka Mahetla,” is a traditional Sotho/Maskandi song influenced by contemporary sounds emerging in South Africa. This song is written in the Sesotho language.

Selflez B has been nominated for the Best Upcoming Artist and Best Hip Hop Artist categories at the Mzansi Arts & Media Awards 2023. The awards ceremony will be held on September 16th, 2023 in Hammanskraal, Gauteng.

Selflez B is passionate about representing Africa and carrying it on his shoulders. He talks about his hometown and the hardships of life he is undergoing in his music.
