A threshold is the amount of money (sales & royalties) you must make in order to be able to claim your revenue. This amount is agreed upon when you create your distribution account. If you are under that amount (that is, if your sales and streaming royalties don’t total what your contracted revenue threshold is) your royalties will carry over to the next reporting period and if over threshold at that time then you can claim payment.
